Apple sauce is a cooked puree of apple with few spices. With no added sugar it is a preferred option for diabetic patients instead of purchasing things from the market. Try this easy and simple recipe and you will get a more hygienic and yummy sauce at home.
Ingredients
- 4 apple (peeled)
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- As desired salt and black pepper
Directions:

Cook apple in water with salt and black pepper Till the are softened.

When the apple are tender and cooked, add sugar and brown sugar and cook for 5 minutes.

At the end, add ground cinnamon and lemon juice and cook for a minute. Switch off the stove.

Let the sauce cool, mash with the potato masher. Serve warm or cool.
