Dijon mustard refers to the style in which the mustard is prepared. It normally originates in the Dijon region of country FRANCE. The tangy flavor of this Dijon mustard is excellent to use with sandwiches and salads.
Ingredients
- 8 tbsp Mustard Powder
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1/4 tsp Black Pepper Powder
- 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 2 tbsp White Vinegar
- 2 tbsp Grape Vinegar/Verjus
- 3/4 cup Water
- 1 1/2 tbsp Raisin Paste
Directions
- In a medium saucepan add mustard powder, oil, black pepper powder, garlic powder,turmeric powder, salt, raisin paste and water.
- Cook on low heat with constant stirring for 5 to 8 minutes.
- Add white vinegar and grape vinegar. Mix well and cook on low heat for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and transfer the paste to the bowl.
