Dijon Mustard

Dijon mustard refers to the style in which the mustard is prepared. It normally originates in the Dijon region of country FRANCE. The tangy flavor of this Dijon mustard is excellent to use with sandwiches and salads.


  • 8 tbsp ‏Mustard Powder
  • 2 tbsp ‏Olive Oil
  • 1/4 tsp ‏Black Pepper Powder
  • 1/4 tsp ‏Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp ‏Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 tsp ‏Salt
  • 2 tbsp ‏White Vinegar
  • 2 tbsp ‏Grape Vinegar/Verjus
  • 3/4 cup ‏Water
  • 1 1/2 tbsp ‏Raisin Paste


  1. In a medium saucepan add mustard powder, oil, black pepper powder, garlic powder,turmeric powder, salt, raisin paste and water.
  2. Cook on low heat with constant stirring for 5 to 8 minutes.
  3. Add white vinegar and grape vinegar. Mix well and cook on low heat for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and transfer the paste to the bowl.
