These heart shaped chocolate chip cookies when served with afternoon tea makes your loved ones feel special.
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup chocolate chip
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon maple syrup
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 2 cups flour
Directions:

Heat oven to 350 F. Line the baking tray with non stick paper.

Beat butter, sugar and brown sugar in a large bowl until well combined.

Now add egg, maple syrup and beat until incorporated.

Add the flour , salt and baking soda. Mix well. In the end stir in the chocolate chips and walnuts.

Grease the inside of heart shaped cookie cutter with oil.

Flour the surface and roll out dough. Use cookie cutter to cut out the cookies.

Bake for 8-10 min or until light golden. Transfer to a cookie rack to cool. Serve with afternoon tea and store in an air tight container for later use.
