Italian Meatballs with Tomato Sauce

Wanna cook like a professional!! Try these delicious Italian meatballs with tomato sauce, stuffed with cheese. They are perfect for parties and also tastes best with your pasta.


  • 1 lb ‏ground beef/ground chicken
  • 1 ‏egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon ‏salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ‏black pepper
  • 1/2 cup ‏bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup ‏Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 4 cloves ‏garlic, chopped
  • 1/2 cup ‏milk/yogurt


  • 4 tablespoons ‏oil
  • 1 ‏onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves ‏garlic, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon ‏salt
  • 4 tablespoons ‏tomato paste
  • 3 cups ‏tomatoes,diced


  1. In a small bowl add milk and bread crumbs. Mix well and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet and add onion. When onion turn golden brown add tomatoes and cook for 10 min.
  3. Add the tomato paste and bring it to simmer. Stir occasionally and cook for another 10 min.
  4. Meanwhile combine the milk and bread crumbs mixture, ground beef, salt, black pepper, chopped garlic, cheese and egg in a large bowl. Mix it very well. Roll it into the size of a ball.
  5. Preheat the oven to 400 F. Line pan with foil and spray with cooking spray. Bake the meat balls for 15 min. After 10 min turn them over and bake for another 10 min
  6. Add meat balls to the sauce and simmer for 20-25 min. Turn off the heat and before serving garnish with basil leaves and cheese.
