Mix vegetables, Its a very delicious recipe having the taste of all the veges in one dish using simple spices. Extra ordinary and healthy recipe for the kids and vegetables lovers.
Ingredients
- 1/2 kg Cabbage
- 2 large Carrot cut
- 250 gms Green peas
- 250 gms Potato cut
- 2 normal Capsicum cut
- Fenugreek leaves (optional), Meythe
- 2 normal Onion cut
- 1 tsp Garlic crushed
- 1 tsp Ginger crushed
- 2 Tomatoes cut
- 2 Green chilies cut
- Salt add to taste
- Red peppers add to taste
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp coriander crushed
- 1/2 tsp Kalonji (black seed)
- 2 TBS Fresh parsley
Directions
- Boil all the veges separately, mix them and fry with one TBS oil in pan over very low heat for 10 minutes till cabage is almost done and tender.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry onion in it till golden then add garlic and fry till fragrant.
- Then add tomatoes, salt, red peppers, turmeric powder, green chilies and cook over medium heat till tomatoes are tender and their water dries out. Add ginger and fry masala for 5 minutes.
- Then add the boiled and fried veges to it with cumin seeds, coriander fresh parsley and kalonji, cover and cook over v low heat till cabage is tender while stirring occasionally.
