Potato Salad

Fried/barbecue meat is incomplete without tasty and delicious creamy potato salad. You can also please your guests with this healthy salad .

Kids would also love this for its creamy texture and potato chicken combination.


  • 4 ‏potatoes, boiled
  • 300 gm ‏chicken, boiled
  • 2 ‏eggs, hard boiled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup ‏peas, boiled
  • 1/2 cup ‏green onion, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon ‏garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ‏sugar, optional
  • 2 tablespoons ‏lemon juice
  • As desired ‏salt and black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons ‏milk (optional)
  • 3/4 cup ‏water


  1. Boil chicken in salted water with 1/2 tsp of black pepper. Let it cool and shred it.

  2. Cut boiled potatoes in chunks and mix them with chicken, peas, carrots, green onion and egg slices.

  3. In another bowl, add mayonnaise, sugar, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt and black pepper and mix well. If you feel that the mixture is too thick ,add milk and mix well . Note: You can also adjust the seasoning according to your taste.

  4. Add potatoes, chicken and veges to the creamy mixture and toss well.

  5. Delicious potato salad is ready to serve. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve at room temperature.
