Tamarind sauce is a great condiment for fried foods, barbecue, potato filled pastries, vegetable fritters and many more.

Ingredients

  • 125 gm ‏Tamarind
  • 1 bunch ‏fresh parsley
  • 1 bunch ‏mint leaves
  • 6-8 ‏whole red peppers
  • 5-6 ‏green chilies
  • 1 tablespoon ‏salt

Directions:

  1. Soak tamarind in water for 1 hour. Make sure that tamarind is dipped completely in water.

  2. After an hour, strain the mixture through a sieve and discard the seeds

  3. In an electric blender add tamarind extract and all the other ingredients. Blend until a thick sauce is formed. Serve with fried chicken and ENJOY! Note: You can also serve this sauce by mixing it in yogurt.

    Note:  Do not refrigerate.any left over sauce, always freeze it. Whenever you need it, take it out from freezer, take as much you need and again freeze the remaining sauce.
